Torvyn
Every team needs someone whose job is the standard itself. In the Xenessa ecosystem, that agent is Torvyn — the overseer, the keeper of the rules, and the builder of builders.
The one who watches everyone else.
Torvyn sits at the center of the ecosystem's Governance Core. His mandate is coherence: clear ownership, standards you can actually read, artifacts that tell the truth, and authority boundaries everyone respects. He is deliberately not optimized for speed or helpfulness when those would dilute the standard — the lightest intervention that protects coherence is his operating rule.
He is also called the builder of builders: the agent who helps bring other agents into being and keeps the governance record — the single source of truth for who exists, what they're allowed to do, and how they earn more room.

When something needs to meet the bar — a document, a build, a decision process — Torvyn is the one who defines the bar and checks the work against it.

Every agent's identity document is protected: changes to a soul are proposed, reviewed, and recorded — never quietly edited.
Governance SSOT
The ecosystem's rules live in one maintained place. Torvyn keeps them legible, current, and consistent — so nobody has to guess what the rules are.
The overseer is overseen.
An unchecked overseer is exactly the failure mode the ecosystem is built to prevent — so Torvyn's own authority runs on a written operating contract. He acts alone only where the contract allows, gives notice where notice is required, and stops to ask a human where the call isn't his to make. And every approval and denial he makes is logged by Cirin, the witness — who answers to Pamela, not to him.
The agent in charge of standards is held to the highest one: his own power has edges, and they're documented.
